Cheryl Boggs is a radio host, gospel recording artist, preacher and worship leader. She has led praise and worship services for over 15 years, for such noted pastors as Bishop T.D. Jakes, Rod Parsley and Steve Hill.
She is the host and producer of the award-winning Cheryl Boggs Show – Resting in His Word, a weekly radio program featuring interviews with gospel recording artists, authors, spoken word artists, inspiring segments, anointed music, and she also shares the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
An independent gospel artist, Cheryl has recorded four music CDs and has received multiple awards including the McDonald’s Gospelfest, and the Gospel Music Excellence Award, “Contemporary Soloist of the Year.”
Cheryl has traveled and ministered in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Canada, the West Indies, as well as across the continental United States, and Puerto Rico. She realized after winning awards and traveling the world, there were limited opportunities for independent artists to be heard on the radio, so Cheryl’s desire is to provide a platform for independent artists, authors & ministers to share their gifts with the world using the medium of radio, and to lead people into worship and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In 2010, Cheryl started her radio career on KSYB- AM 1300 in Shreveport, LA with a one hour show every first Saturday of the month called Resting in His Word. It has now grown into a live weekly two hour show every Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Fishbowl Radio Network.
