Teresa L Tarpley was born January 28, 1969 In Fort Worth Tx. Teresa is the daughter of Raye Boozer Battles and the late Hugh Lynn Carpenter, also known as Hotshot. Teresa is the mother of 4 children, Dominique, Trenekia, Alford, and Jazmin Holland. She is also the grandmother of 2, Dominique Tarpley Jr. and Na’Kiyah Holland. Even though she has had many challenges and  struggles, she has now learned from her prior experiences and is now helping others who have had or is currently experiencing many of the same challenges. Decision making in ones life will not only make you stronger, but give you the God-Given strength you need to help others that have chosen similar paths. Her experiences have led her to become CEO and Founder of the non-profit organization, Hurt Broken Now Healed and Delivered Ministries. Reaching out to the community, feeding and clothing the homeless, hosting job fairs to encourage people with and without criminal backgrounds, and reaching out to the sick and shut in. This ministry hosts walk-a-thons to stop addictions and youth extravaganzas annually for lost and troubled youth along with other events that assist in the enrichment of the community. While remaining clean from crack cocaine since September 19, 1994, she also had a baby born addicted to crack cocaine. She has survived various challenges, including but not limited to; depression, suicide, prostitution, rape, homelessness, bullying, domestic violence, bisexuality, being locked in the trunk of a vehicle, as well as being hit by a car in 2013. Teresa was recognized as Miss Yellow Rose of Texas which was received and signed by Governor Rick Perry for community Support. Her motivational speaking has touched many in various places such as church events, special occasions, child protective services, Tarrant Country re-entry programs, homeless shelters, and during street evangelism. Teresa is most comfortable while reaching souls for Christ. Her slogan because of her life experience is “There’s no excuse not to move forward because God’s got my back!”
