As a native of South Florida, Crystal G. came as a surprise to her middle-aged parents. Her parents instilled values of hard work and independence. As the only child to her mother, she is the youngest of two wonderful brothers, and sister from her dad’s previous marriage.
As of today, she is 38 years old, and a single parent to two handsome young men, Kris and Josiah. She dedicated her life to God at the age of 18. From the age of 8, she was drawn to God and wanted to be His friends like Enoch and Abraham. She independently sought after God for a relationship with Him to fulfill a void in her life. She studied and ministered to people of the Good News of God’s Kingdom under the way of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Unfortunately, in 2007 she was disfellowshiped. Thrown out and the door slammed shut she was devastated as the consequence also affected her relationship with her parents. Since her baptism; she felt someone dropped the ball and left her wandering in a wilderness for 18 years bent over backward, constantly tested with the Word of God keeping her grounded.
In April 2016, after several years of self-evaluation, she faced reality, with the toll of religion in combination to life’s regrets she found herself hopeless wanting to abandon her existence, but couldn’t shake the thought of the effects her absence would bring onto her children. She knew God was love, and He gives Grace and Mercy. She came to an end of frustration with depression, rejection, not being good enough, and most of all alienated from parents and extended family. God sent her an intercessor; her uncle, through the power of God’s word she felt a release from her backward state of 18 years, like the woman in Luke 13:10-17. She finally understood what Jesus meant when He said to disown yourself and follow Him. (Luke 9:23) She accepted her divorce with everyone who mattered and surrendered to Jesus Christ; she asked Him to be her everything and to use her as a vessel to do God’s Will.
In October 2016, she left her residence and job in Dublin, GA to chase after a relationship with her Heavenly Father through Christ. Holding on to 1 Peter 2: 9, 10:
“9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
God has molded her to His ways, and through her obedience blessed her with assignments to bring a supernatural awareness to the world of deception and strongholds of the Satanic Kingdom. Jesus is the way and the light to snatch the cover of darkness in the world. (John 3:16) Everything she went through was purposed to relate to the suffering of His people and to be able to connect them to what true love is without the critical spirit of religion. Today, she is boldly walking in her assignment to help everyone of every creed, nationality, and color as the spiritual Israel Jesus commanded His disciples to spread the good news of God’s Kingdom.
