  • Ta’Meka Nichole Vickers was born May 5, 1975, in Houston, Texas. By the age of 2, she began singing around the house and was then her parents and grandparents knew they had a child with the gift of singing. By the time Ta’Meka was 9 years old, gospel songs in the children’s choir at Unity Church of God In Christ in Denver, Colorado. At the age of 19, she joined Gods Property in Dallas, Texas and recorded with Kirk Franklin and Gods Property in 1995 on the album Kirk Franklin and the family Christmas; hit single “Jesus Is the Reason for the Season”. On January 22, 1999, the Kirk Franklin and The Family Christmas went Gold on Interscope Records. In the fall of 2008, God gave Ta’Meka a vision and a mission for a marketing and promotions music company called Blessed Entertainment, by summer 2009, Blessed Entertainment teamed up with Universal Christian Music Group Fontana to handle marketing and promotions for Holy Hip Hop Artist TruServa. Before she knew it, God had Ta’Meka working with National Gospel Artist through Optimus Entertainment, Apostle Darryl Yancey, Tommye Young-West, Dave Hollister, Montrell Darrett, David Chance (Ruff Endz), and R&B Artist El DeBarge Jr son of the legendary and great El DeBarge. In 2017, God spoke to Ta’Meka again informing her Blessed Entertainment would have five divisions Marketing and Promotions, Film, Ministry, Radio, and Apparel. God opened every door.  In 2018, The National Sounds of Gospel Radio Show is a part of that reality with The Fishbowl Radio Network.
