John Freeman joined the U.S. Army in June 1988 where he served on Active Duty for ten years as a 13 Bravo (Field Artillery), Drill Sergeant at Fort Sill, and had a couple combat missions in Iraq. After a three year break in service, he joined the Army Reserves where he is still currently serving and now has a total of twenty-seven years of military service. While on active duty at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, John went to American Truck Driving School in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated with his Commercial Drivers License Class A with all Endorsements in December 1991. While on active duty, John drove commercial trucks on the weekends and became a successful independent contractor, truck driving instructor, and a driver’s manager at a fuel company. With that being said, John has a wealth of knowledge in the Transportation Industry as well as knowledge to help out his fellow veterans. Tune in, voice your opinion, and get the help you need to transfer from the military to the transportation industry.
