Dr. Mary Payton is a science and STEM educator who has taught throughout the United States and internationally. She is also the author of Taylor’s STEM Adventures, a children’s book series focused on the STEM travels of a military child. Dr. Payton is currently serving as the interim principal and HS Science teacher at an international school in Jeonju, South Korea. She entered into secondary education after a successful military career as a Lieutenant Colonel and a Chemical Officer. Dr. Payton is a native Texan who has taught for Fort Worth and Dallas Independent School Districts, Texas A&M International University in Laredo and Texas Wesleyan University. According to Dr. Payton, STEM literacy starts at home and carries on throughout your lifetime.
